A downer then a pick me up..Caribou style...

Ok so yesterday kinda sucked...

    I made the mistake of slacking off on looking for jobs and stayed home to work on some stuff. Bad idea. I got that downer that I used to get when I was unemployed and looking for a job. Yeah, it's kinda the same situation right now, but this time it was my choice (or should I say "our"..no wait...it was MINE..I take full responsibility) to be jobless. Lemme tell you what happens...
    Unlike some people who are in the job market looking around, I feel bored and useless if I'm not working. Chalk it up to good morals and upbringing from my parents. They were hard workers and so am I. Unfortunately when I sit at home for a down time I become depressed. So, that's what happened yesterday. The lesson learned?

No matter how appealing a movie date with your husband is, you only have one goal...find that dream job!

    The movie was ok, the popcorn fresh, but when I got home I felt I hadn't really accomplished much and I spent money in the process. Now, the hubby assures me that we are as financially stable as we  can be and everything will be ok, but I still worry.

   So today I got my butt out of bed and headed for the local Wifi hotspot..Caribou Coffee. ( I must remember when this is published to take out all names..copywright fiends are out there you know!) Other than the overhead music that sucks at times, it's a good place to research and relax. It's quiet and you can have beverages and food (unlike the library!). So another tip...

Even though the coffee is overpriced and gives you palpatations...it's a great place to relax and study!

   But you college students knew that already didn'tcha? I see you over there! 

   Well back to the grind (no pun intended) and I'll be sure to catch you up on all the happenings. Most of all remember...

Only you can find that dream job..but you have to work for it!

  Now who wants another cup of Carmel HighRise?!
